Gridcast ("we," "us," or "our") operates gridcast.co, a sports schedule and broadcast guide. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information. By using Gridcast, you agree to the practices described here.

2. Information We Collect

Information you provide directly:

• Email address and team preferences when you sign up for game alerts
• Bar name, contact name, email, phone number, and city when you submit the bar owner interest form

Information collected automatically:

• Basic usage analytics (page views, session duration) via our analytics provider
• IP address and browser type for security and performance purposes
• API usage data when you call the Gridcast public API

Information from third parties:

• If you log in via Manus OAuth, we receive your name and account identifier

3. How We Use Your Information

• To send you daily game alert emails for your selected teams
• To respond to bar owner inquiries submitted through our interest form
• To improve the Gridcast service and fix bugs
• To monitor API usage and prevent abuse
• To comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

4. Email Alerts

If you subscribe to game alerts, we will send you daily emails about upcoming games for your selected teams. You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any alert email, or by visiting your manage alerts page. We use Resend to deliver emails and do not share your email address with any other marketing services.

5. Public API

Gridcast offers a free public API at gridcast.co/api/games. This API does not require authentication and does not collect personal information. We log request metadata (IP address, timestamp, query parameters) for rate limiting and abuse prevention only. These logs are retained for 30 days.

6. Data Retention

Email subscriber records are retained until you unsubscribe. Bar owner inquiry records are retained for up to 2 years for business purposes. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.

7. Third-Party Services

Gridcast uses the following third-party services:

• ESPN API — for sports schedule and score data
• MLB Stats API — for MLB game data
• The Odds API — for betting odds data
• Resend — for transactional email delivery
• Google Maps — for the bar finder feature

Each of these services has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data.

8. Cookies

Gridcast uses a session cookie to maintain your login state if you sign in. We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels. Analytics are collected in an aggregated, privacy-respecting manner.

You have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your information
• Unsubscribe from email communications at any time
