1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Gridcast ("the Service") at gridcast.co, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Gridcast is a sports schedule and broadcast guide that aggregates publicly available information about where to watch sports games across streaming platforms and broadcast networks. Gridcast does not stream any games, sell subscriptions to streaming services, or guarantee the accuracy of broadcast information provided by third-party data sources.

3. Use of the Service

You agree to use Gridcast only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with these Terms. You agree not to:

• Use the Service in any way that violates applicable local, state, national, or international laws or regulations
• Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from the Service without prior written permission
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Service or its related systems
• Use the Service to transmit any unsolicited or unauthorized advertising or promotional material
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service

4. User Accounts

Gridcast offers optional account creation via Manus OAuth. If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

5. Email Alerts

By subscribing to game alerts, you consent to receive daily email notifications about upcoming games for your selected teams. You may unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any alert email or by visiting your manage alerts page. We reserve the right to discontinue the email alerts service at any time.

6. Public API

Gridcast provides a free public API for accessing sports schedule data. Use of the API is subject to rate limits and these Terms. We reserve the right to modify, restrict, or discontinue API access at any time without notice. Commercial use of the API in products or services requires prior written permission from Gridcast.

7. Odds and Gambling Information

Gridcast may display sports betting odds sourced from third-party providers (such as DraftKings) for informational purposes only. This information is not intended to constitute gambling advice. Gridcast does not facilitate, accept, or process any gambling transactions. You are solely responsible for compliance with all applicable laws regarding sports betting in your jurisdiction. Must be 18+ to engage in sports wagering where permitted by law. Gamble responsibly.

8. Intellectual Property

The Gridcast name, logo, and original content created by Gridcast are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Sports data, team names, league logos, and broadcast information are the property of their respective owners. Gridcast does not claim ownership of third-party sports data or trademarks displayed on the Service.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. GRIDCAST DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT GAME SCHEDULE AND BROADCAST INFORMATION WILL BE ACCURATE OR COMPLETE. BROADCAST SCHEDULES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITHOUT NOTICE BY THE RESPECTIVE NETWORKS AND LEAGUES.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GRIDCAST SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO MISSED GAMES DUE TO INACCURATE BROADCAST INFORMATION. IN NO EVENT SHALL GRIDCAST'S TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO USE THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM (WHICH, FOR A FREE SERVICE, IS ZERO DOLLARS).

11. Third-Party Links and Services

The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services (such as streaming platforms, sports leagues, and broadcast networks). These links are provided for your convenience only. Gridcast has no control over the content of those sites and accepts no responsibility for them or for any loss or damage that may arise from your use of them.

12. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Los Angeles County, California.
